Choosing a Koolance System
Koolance liquid cooling systems are available in 4 major form factors:
With today's computer processors and video cards reaching record scorching temps, liquid cooling has made the leap into mainstream computer cooling. At the forefront of the liquid cooling revolution is the Koolance liquid cooling systems!
Liquid cooling reaps many advantages over traditional air-cooling methods.
Koolance Case
PcPowerZone offers the complete line of Koolance liquid cooled case systems. These liquid cooled cases have all necessary components minus the actual cooling blocks included and pre-installed with every case (except as noted in our Koolance Kit section).
Building a Koolance liquid cooled system with any of the Koolance case models such as the Koolance PC3-725BK mid tower cooling system is similar to a traditional computer build. The water cooling blocks install in much the same manner as traditional coolers except that you will attach tubing to each cooler used.
Most people will add an extra 30 minutes or so to their computer build by using the Koolance liquid cooled case solutions. The tubing will need to be laid out and cut before any pc components are installed. Once plumbed and tested for leaks you will then install the rest of your PC components making sure to use thermal compound such as PcPowerZone's Arctic Silver 5 (free Arctic Silver Céramique with any Koolance case purchase) on all cooling blocks unless specifically noted not to in your Koolance instruction manual.
The Koolance systems are available in both 700w and 1000w heat capacities. The 1000w series are desired for pc systems using dual processors, dual SLI VGA cards as well as multiples of additional cooling blocks while the 700w version is used when only a few liquid cooling blocks will be needed, or lower noise levels are desired.

External Cooling System
Koolance offers the Exos systems as a means of liquid cooling any pre-existing pc system without replacing or modifying your computer case. The Koolance Exos systems simply rest on top or next to any pc case.
Your coolant tubing will run into your pc via the PCI slots in the back of your computer case. The system will then be plumbed exactly as a traditional Koolance case would be.
The main advantage of using the Koolance Exos system is the low price and ease of installation. Simply remove your old heat sinks and install the new liquid coolers. Simple and fast!
Internal Cooling Kit
The Koolance Aquian is a compact liquid cooling system used for cooling a single cpu cooler. These systems restrict the use of VGA card coolers and are for basic applications only.
Bolt on Cooling
Koolance INX cooling systems such as the INX3-1050BK are for more adventurous people that are not afraid to cut a hole in their existing computer case. These kits come with a radiator and pump module, which will equal the same cooling performance as standard Koolance cooling systems. Cutting is required!
Recommended Koolance Accessories
There are a few Koolance accessories which I recommend to all water cooled PC builders. I have listed these below with my reasons following the name and hyper-link of each item.
Draining in any of the Koolance systems is simple enough, at first glance anyhow. Once you put together a few water-cooled pc systems you will learn to appreciate having a drain valve installed at a low point within your cooling line.
It is ideal to open your coolant line in 2 locations to release the vacuum within the coolant line. Otherwise it will be extremely difficult to completely drain the coolant from your system when needed.
With a drain valve in place, you will be able to release the vacuum in your Koolance cooling system by opening your fill cap then carefully opening the drain valve and draining coolant into a small container.
Koolance tubing wrap will help prevent kinks and line twisting within your Koolance case. Install by wrapping the Koolance tubing wrap around Koolance tubing at any point where your tubing must make a tight bend. This will prevent a disastrous kink from effecting system performance.
I also highly recommend the PcPowerZone Koolance Cooler Kit which combines the most commonly compatible and used Koolance coolers needed for just about any Koolance build… all at a bare minimum price.
